List of Major League Baseball career ERA leaders
This is a list of career leaders in earned run average (ERA) in Major League Baseball (MLB) who have pitched at least 2000 innings. In the sport of baseball, a pitcher's ERA is a statistic denoting the mean of earned runs given up by a pitcher per nine innings pitched.
Ed Walsh holds the MLB earned run average record with a 1.82. He and Addie Joss are the only two players in major league history with 2000 or more innings pitched with an earned run average lower than 2.00.
