This is a list of career leaders in earned run average (ERA) in Major League Baseball (MLB) who have pitched at least 2000 innings. In the sport of baseball, a pitcher's ERA is a statistic denoting the mean of earned runs given up by a pitcher per nine innings pitched. Ed Walsh holds the MLB earned run average record with a 1.82.
